The Buried Line Locator uses new technology to perform functions of more expensive locators at a lower cost. This design allows the unit to be far lighter, yet still have better accuracy than competing models. The transmitter offers two frequencies and three output power settings, allowing optimal performance for all locates. It also uses a long life rechargable battery with both wall and automobile charge capability. Microprocessors have been used to increase simplicity of this product. The BLL2-10W is easy to operate and has a shorter learning curve than traditional locators.

PRODUCT FEATURES

The receiver display indicates signal strength, depth, low battery and mode setting. If signal is lost, the auto gain may be reset at any time with the “signal reset” button. This will immediately allow you to re-locate the line. The passive mode setting will locate electrical, CATV and telephone lines without transmitter signal. The unique audible tone is used for quickly tracing lines. The LED & LCD displays are used to pinpoint exact line location and depth measurement.

The transmitter induces a unique signal onto the line or conduit being traced. It can be connected to the line by clips leads, clamp or inductive coupling. Inductive coupling sends the signal to the line so there is no physical connection to the conductor. The transmitter indicates signal strength, low battery, power and charging.
